GROUPE ATLANTIC Russia took part in the congress at the direct invitation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation - the event was attended by Sergey Lebedev, General Director of Group Atlantic Teplolyuks LLC.

The event focused on discussing possible measures for Russia's advanced, socio-economic and scientific-technological development, ensuring technological sovereignty and scientific superiority. The main participants of the discussion are heads of high-tech and industrial enterprises of Russia, representatives of legislative and executive authorities of federal and regional levels, foreign partners from Turkey, China, India, Iran, UAE.

The Congress started with a Business Breakfast organized jointly with VEB.RF. During the breakfast the participants of the event will discuss key financial instruments for the realization of technical sovereignty projects.

The plenary session was held with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries, state companies and industrial enterprises, moderated by Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The main topic for discussion: "Strategy for the implementation of projects of technological sovereignty and structural adaptation of the economy". Among the key issues: support of Russian manufacturers and stimulation of creation of high-tech industries, import substitution, development of industrial clusters, accelerated introduction of digital technologies, formation of new transport and logistics corridors, cooperation with foreign partners and others.

"I can note that serious steps have already been made on the way to technological independence, a number of them we consider quite successful. But there are still unsolved issues that need to be worked on," said Sergey Katyrin.

The business program of the congress was continued by five strategic sessions:
  • Digital Sovereignty of Industry;
  • Development of industrial cooperation and investment projects within the EAEU;
  • Railroad engineering - the locomotive of the economy;
  • Metallurgy: a new vector of development;
  • Aviation industry: the course to import substitution

The program of the event included: business dialogues with representatives of friendly countries, B2B and B2G business meetings, individual professional consultations on legal, legal and financial issues, work of exhibition expositions, as well as conclusion of new partnership agreements.

Denis Manturov noted that the industry is facing ambitious tasks to accelerate the creation from scratch of entire sub-sectors (electronic engineering and low-tonnage chemistry), as well as a number of products important for the functioning of the economy (new gas turbine and diesel engines, aircraft systems and ship equipment, precision machine tools and LNG production technologies). He emphasized that the main cross-cutting principle in these areas is the formation of competencies and capacities at all links of value chains.

"Such an unprecedented task determines the level of support from the state. We have built appropriate mechanisms for the entire product life cycle, including support for fundamental research and R&D, the investment stage and, most importantly, demand," said Denis Manturov.

Igor Levitin said that industrial issues are among the top priorities today and emphasized that it is important not only to develop companies, but also to continue to help them enter foreign markets.

"Today, to support non-resource non-energy exports, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has prepared an updated passport of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", which will allow exporters to implement foreign trade projects and promote Russian products to foreign markets," he said.

The plenary session was also attended by Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region, Alexei Melnikov, Managing Partner of Fplus IT Holding, Dmitry Eroshok, General Director of Natspromleasing LLC, Alexander Sizov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Interprycep LLC, and Anton Drozdov, Deputy Chairman of Promsvyazbank PJSC.
